Substratta is an invite-only community for small-business owners, operated by Wiltshire Ventures. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it plain and we do not sell your data.
Who we are
Substratta ("we," "us") is a product of Wiltshire Ventures. If you have any question about this policy or your data, email support@substratta.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what the community needs to work.
- Application details. When you apply to join, we collect your name, work email, business name, role, LinkedIn URL, industry, team size, and what you want to use AI for.
- Account and profile. Your name, email, business, title, industry, bio, social links, and profile photo.
- Content you create. Prompts, questions, answers, reviews, workflows, tool submissions, comments, and any images you upload.
- Activity. Votes, reactions, bookmarks, and the tools in your stack, so the community features work.
- Notifications. If you use our mobile app and allow push notifications, we store a device token so we can notify you about replies and activity.
- Contributions. If you choose to make an optional contribution, our payment processor handles your card details. We never see or store your full card number.
- Technical data. Standard server and security logs (such as IP address and browser type) generated by our hosting providers.
How we use your information
- To review your application and run your membership.
- To sign you in securely (passwordless email links and codes).
- To power the community: posts, profiles, search, notifications, and moderation.
- To keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and fix problems.
- To communicate with you about your account and important updates.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
How your information is shared
We share data only with the service providers that help us run Substratta, under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Supabase for database, authentication, and file storage.
- Netlify for hosting and delivery.
- Resend for sending account and sign-in emails.
- Stripe for processing optional contributions.
Your profile and the content you post are visible to other approved members inside the community. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our members.
How we protect your data
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to community data is enforced at the database level, so members can read community content and change only their own records. We restrict administrative access to what is necessary to operate the service.
Your choices and rights
- You can view and edit your profile at any time from your account settings.
- You can turn notifications on or off in the app.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to close your account, by emailing support@substratta.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies only, to keep you signed in and to keep the app secure. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.
Children
Substratta is for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
